It wouldn’t install through the installer, but we got around that. It’s very cute, the Tachikoma actually talks when it’s hooked up to the comp with the USB cable; the central eye moves up and down and the LED’s on the abdomen flash. It lets you pick from several different screensavers, has some kind of voice/text reminder function (all in Japanese, so we’ll have to get one of our buddies to translate it), and has some cute little games to play. Plus it shows short little animated movies with voice and sound effects, and when you turn it off it says “BYE BYE!” J Very cute, very cool… any GITS fan would love one of these!
all the CD instructions are in Japanese, and it might not install properly on their machine; we got around that by not using the setup.exe program, but installing it with the .msi program on the CD instead. It wasn’t complicated to figure out, but if people don’t understand any Japanese at all, it might be frustrating.
